Help us bring our rescued Satos to loving homes in the Northeast – be a Passenger Escort!

Every week, we fly Satos to our shelter partners in the Northeast. But federal law prevents them from flying without a corresponding passenger as an “escort.”

    How does it work?

    • Send us your travel itinerary and we will ask our shelter partners if they have space to accept dogs on that date.
    • We let you know whether we can send dogs on your flight. (If your plans change, please let us know ASAP.)
    • On the day of your flight, we need to touch base to confirm arrangements, so please give us your cell or contact phone number.
    • We recommend that you arrive at least two hours early.
    • At the airport, we can be found with our dogs and kennels at the far right of the main American Airline counter.

    • We will accompany you to the ticket counter for check in. (A ticket agent needs to see your photo ID to confirm that you are on the flight.)
    • When your flight arrives at its destination, you don’t need to do anything. Our partner shelter will be there to meet the dogs at baggage claim.

What if my plane is delayed?
We monitor the departure. If the flight is canceled, we will pick up the dogs. Likewise, the receiving shelter monitors the arrival time. You will have all our contact information in case you have any questions.

    How do I sign up?
Just email your travel plans and contact information, including cell or contact phone number, to edi@allsatorescue.org and/or twig@allsatorescue.org.
